A Little Jaded - Season 2, Episode 1

Jade: Hello, welcome to another episode of A Little Jaded, brought to you by Jaded Productions. My name is Jade Zalevsky. I am a student at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and I am here with my Executive Vice President, Joanna Serrano, and we also have a very special band with us today that I will let Joanna introduce.

Joanna: Hello guys for anybody that is new I am Joanna, the Executive VP. I am 21, from the Bay Area in California and yes today we are here with Foxglove an amazing alternative rock band from Southern California. Big shoutout to Stacey Morales for helping set this up but yeah do you guys want to go into your own individual intros of who you are?

Jayden: Yeah we do! Haha (everyone else from the group laughs in unison) We are Foxglove, I’m Jayden.

Tristen: I’m Tristen

Alex: I’m Alex

Jade: Um so you know just for the first time listeners, how would you describe your music and also what bands/artist are you guys influenced by?

Jayden: I would say our music is kinda like um an alt rock based - we’re an all rock based band first and foremost primarily. Genre wise I would say we’re kinda like neapolitan ice cream you know? *laughs* we have influencers in indie pop haha we have all of our own different influences that kinda work their way into the songs so like on a song by song basis. There's multiple genre influences so at its core I would say it’s all under the blanket of alternative.

Joanna: I was actually going to say, I, of course, I was studying before meeting with you guys so I listened to you guys’ music because I also grew up loving alt rock so I wanted to check you guys out and your two songs - because they have two songs out go stream - are very different sounding you can definitely tell that there is that um inspiration of the alt rock but they also have different vibes so I thought that that was cool that you are getting a taste of different things. It’s not just one cookie cutter genre and I feel like a lot of artists get kind of scared that they’re going only to be kind of stuck in one box once they pick a genre.

Jayden: Yeah, I think we’ve actually uh we talked about that quite a bit too because I mean there have been thoughts you know our first EP, which is from a different line up entirely that we just you know put up together really fast, it was pretty much you know pretty much all the same genre, kind of alternative rock a little more upbeat, indie rock even maybe, and uh I don’t know we’ve grown as musicians since then and we’re really excited to like branch out and just write things that we want to write as opposed to sticking to one thing (rest of band agrees verbally).

Tristen: All of this - a lot of different influences, you know we listen to and we try to incorporate everything into our music we don't want to pigeon hole ourselves into just listening to one type of music, creating only one type of music um we see the beauty in all of these different types of music that we listen to so why not show that in our art and you know do more than one thing.

Jade: Absolutely, Joanna and I were talking about that. Um it feels like lately artists, that are you know new and fresh are coming up, don’t want to pigeon hole themselves up so I’m glad you guys feel the same in that respect that you you want to go this way and that way and you know just want to try everything you know and make it like uh like uh a neapolitan ice cream I think that’s like a super cool analysis, I love it.

Joanna: And I guess kinda going off of talking about you know the two releases you guys do have under Foxglove, like um do you guys want to go into describing what was the inspirations behind your guys’ cover art?

Jayden: Yeah definitely. So um for our first single that we came out this year is “Overnight” um we wanted the kind of that was kind of more of like a personal lyric script. By the way I’m not the lyric singer but I wrote the lyrics to that one. Um it was kind of more like a more of a personal anecdote to me like kind of what I was feeling and what like the story was behind writing that song Ikind of wanted to incorporate kind of like a romanticized version of what thematically what that song was about, so you know we incorporated that with having like a female model in the art and then having all of these other nicknacks and stuff that kind of pertain to idealized versions of like that scenario of that anecdote of my experience.

Alex: I guess for “Sadist” as well. It’s really funny cause I sent it to a friend and she said it felt like driving through a city at night and looking up at the skyscrapers, so we uh we went out to edit in LA and took a picture of a really cool skyscraper and like edited it a bit and it was like totally what she envisioned. And then we also have been working on that little logo in the corner of each one trying to normalize that and make that part of our insignia cause we came up with that design and it’s really cool *laughs*

Alex: It kind of represents the three of us. It's like three little triangles, which obviously triangles are three sided and there's three of us and it’s kinda like one goodison? Unit you know has a fun little logo.

Jayden: Just something just like to associate with the band.

Joanna: Yeah I was going to say I noticed that too and I was like oh that’s really cool branding yourselves in that way. I thought that was cool.

Jade: Yeah like I love that, I wanted to ask that and it’s so cool to hear about you know like that you took a picture of a skyscraper and like edited it, that’s so cool I love it. So was it like you that edited it or did you outsource it? Sorry that's like off script but I just wanna know *laughs*.

Jayden: Oh no, don’t worry about it . For the first one that was something we commissioned someone we worked with her name is Hannah Eleven she is great. We commissioned her to take that photo and she also got uh, she was one that recruited the model and we kinda worked together to orchestrate that whole thing but she had a lot of input as well and she edited the whole thing. The second one that was just taken ourselves like Iliterally took it on my iPhone. Cause I’m LA based I live in LA. It was down the street from where I live, not to like out myself... (everyone laughs) it’s big city so it’s fine! *laughs* but uh I literally took that photo because I remember one day we had a general idea of what we wanted, so one day I went around and walked around and took pictures of everything that looked interesting and that was the one that we kinda like, we like I said this whole big forum to them and we picked that one and I edited it myself, and then Tristan was the one that made the logo, the little symbol thingy and he put that on and put the final touches on in, so yeah that was that one.

Joanna: I love that you guys are really hands on with everything that you guys are doing. Like you said, you wrote the lyrics to the song, you guys are really hands on with choosing: this is the cover art we want, this one doesn’t look that great. I think that’s awesome cause at the end of the day, you know you can have a team full of people but you guys should be the ones really embracing your vision.

Jayden: Yeah, yeah, 100%.

Tristen: I feel like it is really important to us that we do like to have control of the art, down to the final touches. You Know we write the music, we record everything ourselves, we mix everything ourselves, Jayden does all that he is really talented, and all of that, but even into the art work you know like every single part of it we want our hands on, because it’s our art.

Jayden: Cause like at the end of the day, even having a team is like a dark thing. You know we feel responsible to mold it in a way that we see and if it is bad, it’s our fault, not our team’s fault, and if it’s good, then it's all our work, yeah *laughs*

Tristen: It’s all or nothing!

Joanna: That's also a good way for you guys to grow! Like this worked, this didn’t work, and you guys can just go from there vs the team is going to be an outside perspective, like it’s not theirs.

Jade: Yeah I love that everything is DIY and its like you made everything and you have your hands in everything. I think that's really, you know what's going to really take you guys like extremely far you know because it's your vision and it's your art coming to life, as you said, but that's really cool to me, I love that. So, we kind of heard um that you guys have an EP coming out! First do you guys want to like uh announce, you know, what inspired the songs and who it's kind of like for?

Jayden: Yeah it's kind of inspired by… so uh thematically a lot of the songs, and we this is like our uh not our first release ever, but these songs I would say span 3 or 4 years as far as writing them goes, so a lot of them are past experiences I’ve had lyrically, and then Alex as well. Inspiration wise, as a whole, I would prob say most of it is, to me, it’s kind of it was taking like bad situations and experiences and negative things and using the music as a way of expressing it, and telling a story. So a lot of these are about a breakup, or about, like, self doubt, things that are negative, but funneling it into music, so like a positive outlet. So inspiration wise that's what I would say across the whole EP.

Tristen: And the music that we write is more upbeat in general that's just the music we like to write, and the music most people like to listen to and is fun so it’s kind of like a cool almost paradox having these more negative experiences and stories and putting them into a positive light and you know it’s them, as lyricists, saying: “yes, these bad stuff happened to us, but we can still learn from it, and grow from it. We can, you know, not be so burdened by it that we can’t even talk about it, you know”. We’re singing about it in front of everyone and people are listening to our stories and hopefully having a good time, but yeah as for who its for... um like we write more indie rock you know alt rock music so obv it’s going to be more for people who kinda vibe with that but with us having influences from so many different types of music obv we’re going to find we like to write something for everybody, so you know people that like you know like hard rock are gonna like indie rock something like “Sadist”, like classic rock we have a track on there is little more like that, so its more you know Jayden said it’s neopolitan a little bit mix of everything... What's the word?

Jayden: Mismatch?

Tristen: Mismatch... eh that’s not the word I was looking for. I had a whole train of thought and that one word messed it all up *everyone laughing* um so that's who it's kind of for a lot of these songs we've been writing for years and years and gone through a lot of iterations. So the people that have been with us for a long time are gonna find songs that they know that we’ve been playing for a while and have kind of evolved since we’ve written them, since we were you know 17, um but they’re in a better like structure now they’re more true to who we are right now and what we feel, so you know, we’re hoping to pay homage to those older songs and have something for our fans and also our new fans that are coming in and joining in. Hope we can find those ones where they can have new music to listen to as well, so yeah.

Alex: And I think “Overnight” and “Sadist”, they’re probably the two newest songs we’ve written and is a perfect example of that juxtaposition because “Overnight” sorta stays true to the kind of music that we were writing in the past ,and that you know you have a really good time writing and we know pretty well, and “Sadist” is dipping our toes into newer genre related to pop or sort of atmospheric rock, and so we’re so like really excited to put that out to show people that they can sort of expect some newer things from us as well.

Tristen: Yeah, and it’s cool the reception for that one - people really seem to like that one even though it’s something that we’re almost certain scared about writing because it was so different from what we used to did but, you know, people enjoy that one people because “Overnight” too, like you know, like Joanna was saying, two very different songs but still under the same audience people love them.

Jade: I love that one personally, I personally love that one *laughs*, but yeah I think that that's insanely cool and I love the fact that you guys are trying to turn a negative into a positive and find something that everybody can enjoy because I feel like a lot of different people, at least from the music you have out right now, you can tell a lot of different people would definitely enjoy it.

Joanna: I also like that you are purposefully trying to create stuff thats not just upbeat, just for the sake of it being upbeat, but when you think about live shows, you want something that the crowd is going to obviously have fun with, you know and especially with live shows coming back, obviously you want your fans to have an amazing time you don’t want everybody to be crying to the entire time or something you know.

Band: Yeah.

Tristen: I mean that’s something we’ve talked about but like live shows are like our bread and butter. It's you know, for me, that’s my favorite part of playing music, to play live shows, and we always want our shows to be fun and upbeat and people having a great time when they’re seeing us. Not to say that being a little more introspective is bad or anything, but when we listen to music we love to have a good time, so honestly when we write music we’re already thinking about things like, “this would be cool to do live”, you know. We write one part and we write a variation of that part like, “oh that’d be a cool live part”, different ways to play something.

Jayden: We’re thinking about how the music sounds but also how it feels, like does it make them want to dance? Is it grooving? Why isn’t it groovy? Why wouldn't this be fun to hear at a show? You know stuff like that, like yeah the lyrics are great it’s great to write these things that are true to us it’s a lot, but also like I want to make sure it’s danceable where people hear it and it makes you wanna move, stuff like that.

Joanna: Yeah, I love that, and especially with you know concerts coming back and everything obviously I follow you guys on Instagram and Tiktok, and you guys are super engaged on there, you guys love to engage with your fans and post photos and videos, and like with shows coming back, what do fans do at shows that really stick out to you or make you really excited or just they make you just enjoy it more, I guess.

Alex: My favorite thing is when we play a really heavy rock song and everybody just moshes *everybody laughs loudly*

Tristen: And then after you finish a guitar solo there’s like, “wooo!” *everybody laughs* we do like praise. We have one song that's called “Option” that is like our heaviest one and there's one specific part that’s liek my drum solo, and everyone moshes, it’s in the middle of it, and it’s really funny to see, funny and cool to see everyone moshing, and then like they’ll stop to see me do the drum solo and picks back up!

Joanna: Oh I love that!

Tristen: It’s like their brek, and then they’re like, “Oh it’s time to go again!”

Alex: And it seems like everybody, like when that happens they’re like, “OH MY GOSH IT’S NOT OVER!” *everybody laughs*

Joanna: Everybody loves a good mosh pit even though they’re a little bit terrifying (overlapping sounds inaudible)

Tristen: Stacey said to protect yourself a little bit, she's trying to video the mosh but she's on guard.

Jade: I love that and that’s funny because as soon as you said that, you know you were saying your drum solo and stuff and like playing a cool lead on guitar, and I realized, I was watching your Tiktox the other day and you were like, “guess who plays which instruments”, so I don't know if you guys actually announced on this episode. So like, what instrument do each of you play and like maybe what instrument do you want to learn in the future?

Tristen: I play the drums, which kinda spoils the Tiktok a little bit but...

Joanna: No, you have to pause this episode, go back, guess, then come back.

Everyone: A whole bunch of laughter and overlap talking.

Tristen: Right, ah I should’ve said that. Everyone take your guess real quick… Okay, I play the drums.

Alex: I play the guitar and I sing, but I mean I play everything.

Jayden: Yeah similar to Alex, multiinstrumentalist, but in the band I play bass and I play the keys.

Tristen: Okay now that they’re both like, “oh I play multiple instruments”, I play the guitar! *everyone laughs* Not to be like I’m the least talented musician, but um I feel like that's the cool part of our dynamic as well is that we kinda all play all these instruments, and obviously we have our set ones we’re the most comfortable with but it helps us kind of like: (a) give each other’s opinions and influences on the different instruments but also (b) if one of us is stuck or has an idea about something, we can kinda communicate that like, “Hey, I think this would be cool in this part, like, Tristen, play this type of groove or this like right here”, and then you know (inaudible (18:10) beatbox drum sounds to see what sounds best with this, and then we’ll kind of integrate that into the song, so it’s a lot more of like a group effort instead of like, “Okay I have to sit here for 6 hours and then just make my drum part. (rest of band agreeing)

Jayden: Yeah, and in the early days that’s how it is, this is how all bands start, you have you write your part and then you give it to the drummer and bass and they write their part, cause you don’t know anything about their instruments, so you give them their thing. Like um when we first started it was very much like, “I play guitar cause I play the guitar part and that's it”. That's all there was. There was no like, “Hey, what do you think about this part,” and, “Okay cool”, and that was it!

Joanna: Well since you guys kind of already talked about how you guys have been doing this for a while, but for anybody that is new, or just now finding out about you now, how did the band get started, when did it get started, were there any other members and they left, the whole thing.

Jayden: yeah, so the band started when Tristen and I were in high school, we were in a different line up and then got Alex on down the road.

Tristen: Tell the story from the beginning.

Jayden: Okay yeah.

Tristen: All right, so yeah Jay and I met our freshman year of high school, this is 2014… 2013?.. 2014. We just became best friends right away basically um he had just moved from a new school uh and then you know we just met we were in a couple classes. And I was lille, “Oh this seems like a cool guy, I might as well talk to him”. We hit it off pretty instantaneously so over the course of that year we became like best friends. The year after, our sophomore year, um and another one of my friends were like, “Hey we should play music together”. Jayden played guitar/bass at that time and the other guy also played guitar but like we needed a drummer. And I had played drums when I was a lot younger but didn’t play that much I had my own drum kit but my parents sold it because I wasn’t playing that much, and then you know you love something more when it's gone, so I was like *everyone laughs* man I really *everyone talks over each other inaudible* so Jay’s step dad lent me his drum kit because he had played in the 80s and that's where we started, that one and it was this really giant red Ludwig kit that was very obviously from the 80s, so we played with him. It was Jayden, me, and our friend Charlie uh and we played with that trio for maybe a year or so uhm we added on somebody else, another guitarist that started out as a bassist...

Jayden: Cause nobody wants to play bass.

Tristen: Cause nobody wanted to play bass *laughs* and we just wanted to have 3 guitarists!

Jayden: I remember him joining, and he was a guitarist, and he was like, “You can join only if you play the bass”

Everyone: *laughs*

Joanna: But when you’re in the car, the bass is the best part!

Band: (in unison) I agree

Jayden: I know that now, it’s why I play bass. In the moment I wanted to play the guitar, the guitar is cool.

Group: Mutters inaudibly.

Tristen: Jayden at 15/16, he was like, “There’s no way I’m playing the bass”.

Jayden: Yeah.

Tristen: But we matured. 21 year old Jayden, he’s like…

Jayden: I’m just, I’m all about that bass.

Tristan: Yeah, all about that bass.

Jayden and Tristen: No treble. *laughs*

Tristen: Um… So anyways, we played with that four piece for a while, and then Charlie left and we brought someone else in, he actually wanted to play the bass, so the current bassist switched to guitar, so still a 4 piece. Then we lost that guitarist due to some bad drama *laughs* so currently we’re at Jayden, *other inaudible name*, Tristen, and then we need another guitarist.

Alex: So I knew Jayden from another band that I was playing in, and I was like a guitarist and a singer for that band, and he was playing drums for that band so that's how I met him. Then they needed someone to sit in for guitar for a couple of shows, so I learned the songs in a week or two...

Jayden: Yeah really short notice.

Alex: Yeah it was really brutal *everyone laughs* but so I played a couple of shows with them and then I think Tristen pretty hesitant to let me in the band because I was already in the other band, but eventually he that warmed up, and so they let me be in the band. And so at this point now we, had the bassist, we had Jayden on vocals and rhythm guitar, and I was on lead guitar, and Tristen on drums, obviously, and then we released a pretty rudimentary EP with that line up and uh then our bassist walked out, he - he just wasn't feeling it anymore, and so we had to sort of like reorganize everything, and try to figure out what we were supposed to do so Jayden picked up the bass guitar and was going to play bass and sing, and then I would just be playing guitar, so I made my parts really complicated, and then one day we just came in and Jayden said, “Hey I think Alex should sing”, and I was like, “Yes”. *laughs*

Tristen: And if I could interject for a second, this line up we had right here, with me, Jayden, and Alex, is like right when the Coronavirus started, so basically there was like no shows going...

Jayden: Well, it was like well into it, like 6 months into it.

Tristen: Yes, sorry, it was uh 3, with Jayden singing, I think, started with COVID, and then well into COVID, when we were practicing and trying to find out who we were again, as a 3 piece, because obviously there was a lot of line up changes and a lot of instrument changes. Jayden was thinking something wasn’t working, so he proposed Alex sing and he can just focus on the bass where he's whatever he wanted to play, so that was about a year ago, maybe a year and a half? *rest of band agrees*

Tristen: *mutters* You were looking at your wrist as if you have the year on your watch?

Band: *laughs*

Jayden: It has the month on it, alright.

Band: *laughs and mutters inaudibly*

Jayden: It has the date on it! *laughs*

Alex: That was like... in like January?

Jayden: Not important. Anyways…

Everyong: *laughs*

Tristen: Obviously there have been a lot of line up changes, a lot of instrument changes...

Jayden: Yeah, lots of changes.

Tristen: Lots of changes! Moral of the story, we’re very confident with how we are now.

Jayden: We are, yeah. It took a long time to get to this line, up but this is, I think we all think this is the line up.

Tristen: Yeah. This is obviously the most talented, and, as you can tell, the most chaotic line up *everyone laughs* which also lends itself to be the most high energy.

Jade: Awesome! Yeah, so you guys obviously are like super, super funny, super, like you said, “chaotic”, so how do you feel like that transfers over, like I know like its COVID time and everything, but  you know how do you feel like you were able to transfer your personalities and stuff through your music and through your social media to really get through to to your fans and to your listeners?

Alex: What I think is really cool about the 3 of us is how we have all that -- we have similar aesthetic in a way, we kind of look like, I don't know like... We’re... kinda cool *everyone laughs* I don't know, good looking guys...

Joanna: *mocking* Yeah we’re cool!

Everyone: *laughs*

Alex: We all have very much our own different styles. Like I’m sorta more emo, sort of edgy in a way? It’s weird to say like about yourself, and just kinda, I don't know maybe sometimes a lil more serious on stage, and then you guys wanna describe how different our personalities are?

Everyone: *laughs*

Jayden: Sure! Uhm, well, at our core we’re all just 3 goofy guys. We’re friends, first and foremost, we just play music and we have our own different things that we do. He's a little along the serious side, I’m like more the fun loving, energetic side, Tristen is kinda more like the more level headed, down to earth, go with the flow one, but I mean we all have different personalities and we all have the energy and that translates differently on stage but social media wise, it just translates into us being weird and silly *laughs* *band agrees*

Tristen: Yeah, when we play our music, we’re all very serious about our music. We will sit down and analyze everything, every second of what we’re recording, but we dont’ let that translate into our live shows or who we are as people. I think that is something Stacey really helps us with, like we used to take ourselves super seriously, we’re this band that plays alt rock *band talking over each other* and she’s really helped us realize that people are - they wanna see us for who we are, they wanna know that we’re just normal guys, and we want people to know that we’re normal guys, so we’ll sit and we’ll write music really - we’ll try really seriously, but we still try to have fun. So it's a little different in the way we write vs how we treat ourselves.

Jayden: Yes, and our social media has really helped us ever since we had this line up, especially since we got Stacey. She helped us out a lot but we started worked on our personalities a lot on social media, and that transitioned to us being like, “Okay, maybe it’s time to let our actual personalities show on stage”. Because before it was like, “yeah, we’re this badass band playing live”, and no we’re like, yeah we’ll do bits on stage and we’ll tell jokes and interject with each other, and it’s a lot more laughter but also - because we didn’t feel it matched with the vibe of the song but like it doesn’t really matter *laughs*

Joanna: I feel like back in the day, it was a lot more like - there was more of an allure of the mysterious factor, of not knowing about the band, but nowadays, the fans are more gravitated towards an artist or band when they feel like they can be their friend, they like their morals, their personalities, they’re gonna be more inclined to see their shows if they actually like who you guys are as individuals not just like they make music.

Tristen: Totally, absolutely, and that’s - basically Joanna, that’s like to a “T” what we want to portray on stage, people watching us but then they feel like, “I want to be these guys’ friends”, or, “I could be these guys’ friends”!

Jayden: We don't just play the show and then we’re like, *inaudible* backstage *inaudible overlap of chatter and laughter* you can catch us talking to everyone, exchanging praise, saying, “Wow you did so great”, and it just feels good these people are enjoying the show and then we can talk to them after, and be like, “Hey, thanks for coming out”. It really does mean alot to us, to see all your faces in the audience.

Jayden: Like I don't know how I would have done this interview if we’re trying to put up a front, like let's actually talk about the music *laughs*.

Joanna: I guess kind of going off of like all of your individual personalities, who you guys are as individuals, what are some of your hobbies or things you do outside of the band or outside of music?

Alex: I really love soccer, I really love whisky, I really love ideas, but I just I don't know I like having a good time, I like socializing, I don't know how much more I have about hobbies, I mean music is my life, I’ve been doing it since I was 5 years old, and a ton of different instruments and pretty much what I’ve committed most of my life to and i’m really happy with that, yeah.

Jayden: So you’re a one trick pony.

Alex: No.

Everyone: *laughs talking over each other*

Tristen: Uhm yeah I mean I am also pretty sociable, I like hanging out with people I'm really close to. I like playing sports, I’m not specifically - like I played tennis in high school so that’s something that I’m really connected to, I just kinda playing all kinds of sports... Hikes and going to the beach, that kind of stuff, just... regular... SoCal boy.

Jayden: *mocking* Just SoCal boy things.

Jayden and Tristen: *laughs*

Jayden: Um, besides music, I play a lot in my free time, I try to just delve into things that are music related, but when I don’t… uh, usually yeah, just hang out with friends. I’m also really into cocktails, like mixology and stuff like that, so that's like my thing, I like to do that on the side with friends, and put more time and effort into that. But for me, I know I just made fun of Alex for this but it’s mainly music *laughs* like if it’s not music for this band, I'm doing it for something, or for myself, or like I want to learn this tune, or stuff like that. I don't know it's just a thing I feel like I need to do.

Alex: We like to party! *band agrees and laughs*

Tristen: Y’all should party with us!

Jade: *laughs* Yeah that's definitely evident in your mosh pits at shows and stuff, that's definitely matching the vibe of partying for sure.

Joanna: But the whiskey and mixing... only if you guys are 21 you guys...

Jade: *laughs*

Jayden: *mutters inaudibly* I will card you!

Everyone: *laughs*

Jade: I love it, cool, so what does the future look like for Foxglove and each one of you?

Alex: I don't know, I mean… You know, it’s always the dream to reach everybody in the world and have everybody listening to our music and relating to it in a certain way, and playing really big shows, and just being a band for a living. That's the dream. I think we have the tools necessary to do it especially with the help of Stacey, she’s been helping us quite a bit to reach new people. I don't know we’re just going to keep doing our thing and hopefully people vibe with that.

Jayden: I think definitely from here, for a really long time, we have a lot of growth in our future. I think it's taken us a long time to get to this spot, where we’re like, “Okay, this is the thing that is going to make us have a shot at this,” it's a lot of… yes playing music, yes playing shows, but a lot of trying to grow and grow exponentially. Like Alex said, trying to reach a wider audience but at the same time growing as people and funnelling that into our music.

Tristen: Like right now we have the EP coming out soon, which is a collection of songs that we’re really, really excited about and we’re excited to play shows for it so that's something obviously in the short term. But we see no signs of stopping. We obviously love to write music and put on shows, so to me that's like the most wonderful type of rotation, write songs, play shows, write songs, play shows. That's what I would love to do for sure.

Joanna: Yeah, so for anybody that wants to go to their show and wants good content, wants a new band to listen to, where can everybody find you guys?

Jayden: We are on Instagram @foxglove.band, we are on Spotify, we are Twitter now, we are on pretty much every social media platform that exists in the know universe, that matters *laughs* Tiktok, MySpace, Deezer, Zoom…

Everyone: *laughs*

Tristen: iHeart radio!
